Julian Meagher. Founder, Co-Owner and Creative Director.
Julian studied industrial design in Johannesburg, South Africa. In 1996, he moved to London to pursue a career in product design, beginning his professional career working under the wing of design guru Tom Karen of Ogle Design. Since then, he has worked for several high profile blue-chip clients including Virgin Mobile, Mattel, Hasbro, Tomy, GSK and Speedo.
Playforever was born in 2006 from Julian’s lifelong fascination with classic supercars. Today, he drives the creative end of the business, dreaming up the next big vehicle, experimenting with materials, finishes, colour palettes and forms (and occasionally riding his bike in underground parking lots).
Cameron Treeby. Co-Owner and Operations Director.
Cameron Treeby was born in Wellington, New Zealand. After graduating from Victoria university Treeby worked for Fisher and Paykel designing state of the art white goods. After gaining a wealth of knowledge he then moved to London in 2000 where he joined Hyphen Design. Working for this competitive design agency for many years he gained an all-round understanding of design and business.
Ewan King. Head of Global Sales and Distribution.
Ewan was born in Sheffield, UK and joined Playforever in 2015 to oversee sales and marketing, and expand our growing portfolio of international retailers and distributors. Ewan’s background is sales, working in a variety of sectors from retail and leisure to finance, both in the UK and the USA. As a car enthusiast and an admirer of Playforever since our launch in 2006, Ewan shares our vision for the business, and is excited to be part of our continued growth.
Deborah Cleary. Head of marketing and new territory sales.
Deborah Cleary has launched, promoted and sold countless entertainment and leisure products in the UK, Ireland and Middle East over a 20-year period. As part of the Playforever team, her goal is to develop our brand's global profile and strategically drive demand for Playforever toys and collectables in both developed and emerging marketplaces. With specific focus on new market development, she will launch Playforever in the Republic and Northern Ireland in 2017.
